In the 1980s, I did a lot of portraitures for different people and I gave many pieces away to the models free of charge. I found these in my old cabinets......

In those days, we paid a model S$30 for a session of 3 hours or so. Other than locals, we had many back-packed tourists as our models.

Male, 1984 I added background colour to the painting. I was considered one of the fastest among the artists as I did it in just 2 to 3 hours in one evening.
Female, 1985 This was probably done in 2 hours. I was very quick in portraiture painting. If you notice, this is a simpler painting compared to the one above.
