it is more than 60 years old
the kiln is revived by a group of enthusiastic local potters in 2002
last firing done on 8 & 9 Nov 2003
it took 25 hours to reach 1250 degree Celsius
this is the stretch of jungle path leading to the compound
it provides shade for cars and people
it keeps the pots in good company
the birds like to rest on the branches
